As the year draws to a close, it’s a time for reflection and gratitude here at Dynapower. 2023 has been a remarkable year for us – a year marked by milestones, successes, a continued commitment to innovation and sustainability…and I’m thrilled to share some highlights of our journey.
This was our first full year as a member of the Sensata company portfolio, a move that opened up new horizons and expanded the impact of our mission – “To Power a Cleaner Planet”. Sensata’s position as a global leader in industrial technology gives us additional platforms to leverage our solutions as well as the opportunity to collaborate to develop technologies for emerging markets such as Hydrogen and eMobility. This synergy has strengthened our capabilities, allowing us to enhance our offerings and better serve our valued customers.
Our success this year, especially the remarkable strides in sales, product development, and operations, is a testament to our collective dedication and the support we’ve received from our customers, suppliers, and partners. Alongside our business accomplishments, we remain committed to our mission of powering a cleaner planet. In support of this commitment, we’re pleased to announce a charitable donation to the Vermont Natural Resources Council , a highly respected organization devoted to environmental stewardship. The funds will support their efforts in securing clean water, supporting sustainable communities, contributing to healthy forests and wildlife, and, of course, advancing clean energy and action to address climate change. With direct local impact, our team members and all Vermont residents will benefit from our support for this organization who, like Dynapower, was founded in 1963 and has remained true to their mission for 60 years.
Since our founding, we’ve built industry-leading power conversion systems to ensure that factories keep running and utilities keep the lights on. We know it’s easy to take the power we rely on for granted – but the same electricity that powers our holiday decorations or the oven where we bake our cookies also keeps hospitals up and running, sustains our national defense, and contributes to equitable growth that will benefit all humanity. The gravity of our role is not lost on us and our dedication to advancing clean energy solutions remains steadfast. In 2024 and beyond, we’ll continue making strides toward a more sustainable future.
