Wes Kennedy has more than 25 years of experience in the renewable energy industry. Wes started in the off-grid and battery-based days of the 1990s and has held many roles in the solar industry, including engineering, management and business development in system integration, product distribution, and manufacturing.
As a North American subject matter expert for energy storage in the power electronics space, he paved the way for utility scale energy storage and remote solar plus diesel industrial grids. His passion to combat climate change has led to his public speaking and teaching roles and to leading online training program with hundreds of successful graduates. He currently focuses on deployment of DC coupled solar and energy storage at the largest scale.
