Features

Rugged industrial grade controls.

High quality line contactor.

Phase monitoring system to indicate correct power connection.

Computer designed transformer wound from splice free copper. The transformer is insulated with Class "H" (180 ºC) material, but operates at a Class "B" (120 ºC) temperature rise. The core is low loss grain oriented steel. Laminations are single stacked for maximum mechanical strength and magnetic coupling.

Thyristors provide stepless 0 - 100% output control. Conservative design practice, combined with oversized heat sinks and electronic short circuit detection, provides long life and trouble free performance.

Constant Current Control ± 1% of current rating in a range of 10% to 100% of rating.

Constant Voltage Control ± 1% of voltage rating in a range of 10% to 100% of rating.

Electronic Protection - A level detector continually monitors the output. Should the unit be shorted, the output is reduced to zero within 16 ms.

Enclosure are of NEMA 1 design, manufactured with minimum 14 gauge steel, and are finished with an acid resistant coating.
